Hi there,

Yes, you can Install mac OS on your computer.

But about the easy way, well it's not really that easy, unless you find someone with the exact same settings as you whom already installed macOS on their computer, you most likely need to do some trial and error first.

You will need some kexts and a DSDT file or SSDT files to get all the components of your computer to work properly.

We will be here to help you out if you needed it :)

you can also check the following thread to find out more:

Well I suppose so, in general they are some differences between these two mainboards but I posted the link for you to get familiar with the concept.

In order to make it work on your computer we'll need some adjustment.

You can Install macOS and we'll patch things along the way.

What is the better boot loader to use Clover or Ozmosis ?

I can't find a guide to prepare the usb install key, can you advise me one ?

Thanks

Maxime

I suggest clover.

Do you have access to a real mac or a working hackintosh?

Good,

1. Download the latest macOS Sierra from App Store if you already didn't download it.

2. Prepare a 16 GB Flash disk, format it using "Disk Utility" Select Mac OS X Extended (Journaled) and from Scheme select: "GUID Partition Map" and leave the Name as "Untitled"

3.Open Terminal and run the following command: sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sierra.app --nointeraction

4.Download clover bootloader from: https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/

5. Once your USB disk is ready it's now time to make it bootable by installing clover on it.

6. Install clover bootloader and select the following items by clicking "Customize" button and then click install.

7. After installation is done you'll need to add some extra files and settings to your /EFI/Clover folder.

8. Once you successfully installed macOS we'll continue to make the necessary adjustments.

Windows is actually installed on my HDD but I would like to erase it completely in order to install MacOS, I have to erase this HDD with a specific format ?

Maxime

PS: I already have installed the last Bios version

Steps from 1 to 6 are done, thanks for this very clear explanation !!

In order to install macOS you need to format the hard disk just like the picture I posted earlier, "Format: Mac OS X Extended (Journaled)" and "Scheme: GUID Partition Map" but remember to backup your data if you have any. If you have more than one partition on the disk make sure you backup them as well because it will ease all partitions on the disk.

You also need to configure your BIOS settings to specific settings required for Mac OS to run:

Load Optimized Defaults

SATA Configuration must be set to AHCI

VT-d must be disabled
Disable Secure Boot Mode
Set OS Type to Other OS
Disable SerialPort or Serial IO
Set XHCI Handoff to Enabled

EHCI Hand-off must be enabled

Set Primary Display to PCIE

Disable iGPU if it's enabled

Set Boot Device Control UEFI only

Set Boot from Storage Devices to UEFI driver first

Once you saved the new settings save and reboot and press F8 for Boot Menu and then select the UEFI USB Disk you created and let's hope you boot into macOS installer

Can you see the USB disk in Disk Utility? or it's not showing there as well? If you see the Flash Disk in disk utility erase it and create another one if not try another USB disk.
