Hi!

I'm about to laying hands into a IBM System X3100 M4 entry-level server, to employ it as audio workstation.

The specs of this particular machine are:

Processor: Xeon E3-1220v2
Memory: 4 GB (1600 MHz)
Video controller: Matrox MGA G200eR2
Memory 16 MB (shared)
HDD Hot-swap
HDD controllers SAS/SATA
Channels 1
Connector int. 2
Connector ext. 0
RAID: M1015 Controller

LAN: Intel 82546EB

I know I will not go to any place with the G200eR2, so I need a graphics card anyways. I want to know if there could have some problems with this setup, apart of that.

Thanks for any help!

the motherboard specs do not look OS X compatible, you can try but the video has to go and you will need to do some experimenting, not allot of data on this one, maybe Ubuntu is a better OS for this system ?

Cant hurt to try though... let us know how it goes
