Hello everyone,

I was happy using patched DSDT by MaLd0n with generated SSDT but I’ve started some changes with Windows/SoundBlaster X-fi and end up with removing it as it was causing some weird problems.
Then I noticed that I’m not getting any sound from SPDIF (previously disconnected) under macOS and started digging, besides my hack started to reboot randomly time to time during startup.

AppleALC.kext supports SPDIF but I needed use layout 99 instead 1. However changing didn’t work for me, so removed DSDT and returned to old configuration. Because I liked patched DSDT I tried to recreate file by my self. Spend many evenings reading about, looking for MaciASL patches but no luck. I wasn’t able to apply patches to make it work. This wasn’t surprising as I know exactly nothing about it.

When I've found VoiletDragon “Series-9-Patches” for SSDT.
Patches worked instantly for SATA and USB. So I started digging in this direction and I got patched SATA, XHCI USB, Gigabit Network, ALC Sound and NVidia 1050 Ti all under PCI section.
I used other patches to get Network, and NVidia to work but I can’t EHCI controller under PCI or HDMI Audio. Not sure if my monitor support that last one - it has no speakers but headphone jack only. Tried connecting monitor via HDMI and DP.

Tried to get HDMI audio using HDMIAudio.kext but no luck. Using DVI cable so I don’t really need HDMI audio anyway. Time to time I can see HDMI device in Audio section of System Information but it appears randomly and I don’t see why.

Network card patch I’ve found in VoiletDragon “Series-100-Patches”. I did modified it but only names. All patches here: https://github.com/VoiletDragon

To get working Realtek Sound card I needed to move Audio injection from config to SSDT patch and this works perfect. Cristal clear sound from SPDIF.

I’ve attached current WIP configuration and other files for those would like to test it. Please remember work in progress.

PLEASE NOTE I REMOVED SSDT.AML - You need generate yours.

Can anyone advice on EHCI USB end other hot patches in clover to make this config as close as possible to mac? How you guys checking what patches a hack require?
