surfinchina
I'm asking for help because I'm completely ignorant about these things. I have a Corsair K95 keyboard that I use for the macro keys - shortcuts to my software keypresses in a CAD program. For this I use ckb which is a 3rd party solution for the keyboard. The version that enables the macros is pretty beta and disables stuff when it runs. The current solution is to unload then reload the software. So, I need to type these commands into terminal, but after the first one, the keyboard being unloaded, I can't type the second! And it takes time. Anyway, I'm wondering if some nice person can write a tiny command file that writes this stuff at the click of a button. Or double click. sudo launchctl unload /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ckb.daemon.plist (password) sudo launchctl load /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ckb.daemon.plist

surfinchina
Thanks! I did search, but even the most basic instructions or tutorials are a mystery to me. I'm an Architect you see. Different planet. I've just spent the last hour trying to insert the password into it and then make a command to close the terminal window. And then, ultimately, have it run after the ckb itself has loaded.
