don.key
Hi, I have a Shuttle XH81 barebone that has a trouble waking from hibernation. The configuration of machine is as following: H81 chipset i3-4160 CPU UEFI Mode OSX 10.12.4 Clover r4049 Custom SSDT generated using ssdtPRGen.sh v15.6 org.netkas.driver.FakeSMC 1737 + Sensors RealtekRTL8111.kext What happens is: Sleep wake is OK but when I set hibernationmode to 25 and go to sleep / reboot clover detects that machine was hibernated and attempts to start but this ends up in either black screen or partially corrupt desktop image + hard freeze. I have tried all kind of darkwake settings, strictHibernate etc. to no avail. One thing I find weird is that /var/vm/sleepimage is always precisely 2gb in size, my machine has 8gb memory and I tried to exhaust it by opening many apps, still, sleepimage stays at 2gb Attached is a package containing: clover config.plist ioreg output pmset output clover debut log for booting hibernated image SSDT.aml shuttle_xh81_pack_1.zip
don.key
One little step ahead: I found out that SSDT.aml was causing problems with size of /var/vm/sleepimage, after removing it I was able to get more consistent size of 4GB that corresponds with size on my Macbook where sleepimage is always 1/2 of memory. Also, waking up from hibernation is more consistent now: I get grey hibernation logo with progress bar the the bottom (like in attached pic). progress bar fills up but then machine freezes there. I have USB mouse with LED inside and while progress bar fills up LED light is on but when machine freezes led is turning off, so seems like entire USB system gets shut down. There are no log entries into system.log after machine wakes up. Another interesting aspect is that when I power off / on the machine after freeze it goes through normal boot sequence but once OSX starts I am not present with usual login screen for all users, I get to input password for my user that was active when I put machine into hibernation. There are also all applications I had open but they are clearly freshly restarted. Anyone has a idea what could be happening? I attach my latest clover config as well as boot log. Thanks! shuttle_xh81_pack_2.zip
don.key
And another update: As I discovered, the reason for malformed / small sized sleepimage is overwritten Cpu0lst table, if I drop or overwrite it, the sleepimage is always corrupt / 2gb in size.
