I have made a new computer and want to install OSX on it. My HDD already has a working Mavericks OS on it but when i try to boot it with the new rig it gives the error No bootable device.

I have tried making a usb chameleon with the latest chameleon and it works on other computers except this. It instead gives same error as above. I have tried Windows installation and it boots fine into installation screen.

Is there something i need to do for this pc.

MOTHERBOARD: Intel DG35EC (latest bios version)

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E37400 (or something like that)

GRAPHICS: GT 210

RAM: 6GB DDR2

You probably set up the USB in UEFI mode which is undetectable by your motherboard. Reformat the USB as MBR and install Clover in Legacy mode.

It is definitely not in UEFI as even when making a USB it doesn't work but it will work with another computer that doesn't support UEFI.

I can boot if I boot into E2B usb and select Boot to HDD but I don't like using E2B usb each time.

try with boot key, i think intel is F10, many mobos intel have same problem, work only key boot, i think need activate partitition.

I have tried F10 but it will only show HD. I think i will need to set an active partition withen terminal to get it working.

Edit:

I set the default partition to EFI and on USB and on HD and it worked. I can now boot without the E2B USB.
