Help > Correct Patch DSDT for Gigabyte Z170x Gaming 7

Unfortunately that didn't help :(

Let me explain what happens. If I let my machine idle for, for example, 5 minutes and I try to open an app, then the app keeps jumping in the dock but doesn't open. If I drag a window of, for example, Safari then the window lags extremely. The system seems to recover itself within a minute and then everything is fine again.

Do you think this is related to Power Management?

Hi MaLd0n

I have nearly the same configuration GA-Z170X gaming 7 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4095 MB video card. When I startup with a usb stick with your cloversettings and aml file I don't see my thunderbolt drives. Sound is working. What do I have to do to get my thunderbolt working. With a another clover configuration I can see my thunderbolt drive but I think your configuration  with aml file is much cleaner.

Thanks for all your good work.

HI Mald0n

I have the same Motherboard and components.

My Hackintosh build is. with

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-z170x-Gaming 7.

Processor: Intel Core i7-6700k

Ram: Kingston HyperX Predator DDR4 3200 PC4-25600 16GB 2x8GB CL16

VideoCard: Gigabyte GTX 970 OC 4GB

SSD: Samsung SSD 860 EVO 250GB

Principal Monitor: Pantalla DELL 2709W conected by DisplayPort ( Not work Audio)

Second Monitor: Pantalla ASUS VW224 working well

HDMI working and audio HDMI too.

Not Work

Thunderbolt 3 by port USB C

USB 3.1 port

Displayport audio.

My MacOS is a clean install the High Sierra version 10.13.6 (17G65) with #####

My Version CLOVER 4769

I trie to edit de DSDT with Clover following this topic

I have solved

Shutdown (no restart alone)

The Audio layer is 6 and use CA0132AudioSwitcher to change to speaker to headphones rear and front.

My video card works perfect.

But my problem is.

When enter sleep mode, the 2 first time work well, in the 3 time the pc restart alone or some time no come back.

and the another thing is when I am using it for a long time the system does not turn off, the monitor turns off but the system does not turn off completely and I have to use the restart button.

I use the F4 to extract the DSDT from bios, and make the DSDT.dsl, then I open with MACASL6.1

and that's where my understanding of how to edit the DSDT arrives. What else should I do to make my HACKINTOSH work fine?

I need help.

Hi

I have done what you see in the video.
I have added in privacy to the Runme app and check. But the same remains blocked in cpu log ...

RunMe.pdf

This Runme.app is 2.0 version.

I download another version like 1.8 2.1 from another forums but is the same.

Stoped at cpu log...

Hi Mald0n

finally after a lot of trying I tried to run RUNME in safe mode -X. and worked
I realized that when I injected any kexts the application ran.
Then I was touching everything in cloverconfiguration and said that when I inject FakeSMC.Kext the application does not run.

So I attached the Sendme without being able to inject FAKESMC.kext. Maybe it's that I do not need that kext installed.

I wait for your help. Thank you

Hi Again Mald0n

I am very happy to tell you that since the FAKESMC.kext is removed, my hackingtosh works incredibly better.
It enters and leaves the rest without problems, it does not restart itself.
He manages to shut himself off completely.
The audio and the hdmi work.
And USB3.1 has appeared to me.

Although the USB type C, thunderbolt still does not work.

I have again made a file with the RUNME placing all the pach in cloverconfiguration as I had before.
Please take a look. Let's see what I can improve.
Thank you

HI Mald0n

you're going to say, again this heavy, :hysterical::D

but I'm still looking at this and I could not believe that taking out a kext would solve everything.
So use the command "kextstat | grep -v com.apple" to see the kexts injected and my surprise is that the FAKESMC (1440) is injected which makes me think that I had it twice and that is why I caused so much trouble.
I have it in S / L / E, where I left it and it was also duplicated in kext / 10.13 in EFI folder.

That was the real problem.
Thanks again,

Hi what up Maldon.

I think my joy was short lived.:(
I have had problems with the entrances and exits of the sleeping mode.

The first time makes it correct but from the second or it ends up restarting only the system or does not wake up.

I attach the file.
Take a look please.
