Thanks for this new boot which can not boot my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh with or without boot flag, but it can detect correct CPU parameters and shown before booting.

Really don't boot with kernel maverick ???

This new boot can detect correct CPU parameters and boot to desktop at 10.9.5, 10.10.5, & 10.11.6 in Phenom II x6 1405T hackintosh without any problem, but it can not boot to desktop from 10.9.5 to 10.12.6 in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh.

In FX-6300 hackintosh it got the same issues as in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh: freeze at [KEXTS Patcher Start] and unable to boot to desktop at 10.12.x or 10.9.5.

It can not boot to desktop and always freezes at [KEXTS PATCHER START] with FakeSMC.kext installed and after repair permission too.

No such a bug for Bronya's 2892 boot with flag "fsb=100" in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh or FX-6300 hackintosh at 10.9.5 to 10.12.6.

Any idea for fixing bad UI performance with Nvidia card? Cuda performance is same as Windows but the UI is choppy... . I'm on 10.12.5 with latest Nvidia drivers and clover for bootloader. Thanks for help!

ok :)

works good on kabini and Ryzen

thanks Bronya ;)

Bronya:

Thanks for this RC2 boot which need flag of "-f" in my FX-6300 hackintosh at 10.11.6 & 10.12.6.

Without "-f" it still freezed at [KEXTS PATCHER START] as previous version.

It detected incorrect CPU busratio=20.5 instead of correct value=20 in FX-6300 hackintosh, maybe that's the reason it freezed and can not boot to desktop.

But it can boot to desktop at 10.10.5 even with the same error.

At 10.9.5 it can boot to desktop, but too slow timer and very poor performance occurred again.

I'll test it in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh and report soon later.

[Edit]

This RC2 boot file worked perfectly in Ryzen 1700X hackintosh from 10.9.5 to 10.12.6.

The only bug is lack of reboot function.

Only Bronya 4101 Clover boot can fix this issue in my Ryzen 1700X hackintosh at 10.9.5 and 10.12.6, but it can not boot 10.10.5 or 10.11.6 correctly to desktop yet.

hello,

This is a real general problem that affects everyone, Pascal works especially badly on macOS, I have no solution to offer you yet :(

Yeah i know :( . With EFI clover it's seems a little bit better ( only +5 fps in cinebench... ). With intel it's working so I will debug a bit with hope. There is any public kernel patch for ryzen at the moment?

Has anyone tried lilukext for Nvidia web drivers?    It works for intel systems to work out graphics bugs and now along with WhateverGreenKext AMD RX cards are running without IGPU or helper cards.    I am able to use it for my Ryzen 7 1700 with RX 480s in Sierra 12.5 without helper graphics card.

How did you got your RX480 working on Ryzen with Lilu??? I tried with 12.6 and 12.5 with no luck at all... 12.5 no acceleration, 12.6 black screen.

I think my suspect is true then, you have a better modded kernel for Ryzen...
