Enstriel
I was hoping it will be an easy update, but Im getting an OsxAptioFixDrv error... Can anyone please help? nv_disable=1 doesn't work :/
JCsHands
Same problem here on ga-b75m-d3h with i5-2500 maybe a bios setting? Gonna have a play later. Same here, I have the GA-B85M-DS3H, i5-4570S, and using the iGPU. I'm not with the system now, I know that I have it set to EFI only... I'm hoping you can find an easy fix before I go home to play with it.

Krim404
ACPIBatteryManager.kext any idea why it's crashing? do we need to wait for a patch by @RehabMan?
Slice
The problem requires debugging while I have no Sierra laptop. Monitoring does not crash on desktops.
JCsHands
After seeing the same AppleACPICPU timing out error I updated to Clover 4035 and it my system is working again.
mnfesq
Ahh, my activity monitor crashes with this update, nothing in system log, any reasons??? Delete com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist from Username/Library/Preferences and relaunch Activity Monitor. That fixed it for me.
macq
Delete com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist from Username/Library/Preferences and relaunch Activity Monitor. That fixed it for me. It does work that way and also by editing the value in plist also, but as soon as I hit the energy button it crashes again even after deleting com.apple.ActivityMonitor.plist and restarting the app. am on 10.12.5 beta now , still happens. Yeah, me too. I've isolated the problem to RehabMan's ACPIBatteryManager.kext, as have others in their posts above this one. Without the kext, I can access the energy tab. With the kext, it crashes. Until someone comes up with a modification, I'd rather have the battery working than the energy tab in Activity Monitor. Still, I look forward to having both working eventually. J Lamp
KP on boot with 10.12.4 (Gigabyte X79-UD5 with a 3930k, MacPro 6,1 SMBios) Seems to be happening in random spots with a verbose boot. Safe mode is not working either. I'm currently running off my 10.12.3 backup. Hack was completely stable till this point. After an hour and a half of troubleshooting I'll have to work off the backup for a while. It's going to take some more digging to sort it out. EDIT: It seems my issue may have been due to an older version of Clover. Updated Clover, updated to 10.12.4, updated AppleHDA, all good!

prcmelo
Thank you Maldon! It works! I'm not sure, but I think that using a MacMini7,1 SMBIOS also works... I was using MacPro6,1and changing to MacMini stopped the flickering after uninstalling SwitchResX... if anyone wanna try...
