fasteddy525
Hi, Was wondering if anyone could offer any advice please, Im pretty new to this but can't find anything searching to help me. Having successfully installed El Capitan, I purchased a new Magic Keyboard & Mouse and an IOGEAR BT dongle 4.0. I've managed to get the Dongle working and upon plugging in the mouse and keyboard receive the "is wirelessly paired" popup but neither are actually connecting via bluetooth. The dongle is no more than 12" away. Both read as paired/configured but not connected. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, cheers  Heres what the system shows: Apple Bluetooth Software Version: 4.4.6f1 17910 Hardware, Features, and Settings: Name: Edward’s iMac Address: 08-3E-8E-2C-E9-8E Bluetooth Low Energy Supported: No Handoff Supported: No Instant Hot Spot Supported: No Manufacturer: Qualcomm Atheros Transport: USB Firmware Version: 5.258 (6.1) Bluetooth Power: On Discoverable: On Connectable: Yes Auto Seek Pointing: On Remote wake: On Vendor ID: 0x0CF3 Product ID: 0xE004 HCI Version: 3.0 (0x5) HCI Revision: 0x102 LMP Version: 4.0 (0x6) LMP Subversion: 0x01 Device Type (Major): Computer Device Type (Complete): Mac Desktop Composite Class Of Device: 0x380104 Device Class (Major): 0x01 Device Class (Minor): 0x01 Service Class: 0x1C0 Auto Seek Keyboard: On Devices (Paired, Configured, etc.): Edward Hubbard’s Mouse: Address: 18-65-90-C2-60-AF Major Type: Peripheral Minor Type: Mouse Services: Paired: Yes Configured: Yes Connected: No Class of Device: 0x05 0x20 0x2580 Setup User’s Keyboard: Address: 2C-33-61-E3-99-05 Major Type: Peripheral Minor Type: Keyboard Services: Paired: Yes Configured: Yes Connected: No Class of Device: 0x05 0x10 0x2540
