don.key
Hi,I have a system with following configuration: Asus Sabertooth P67 Motherboard, BIOS Version 3602 i5-3570 CPU Asus GTX 960 gfx Clover 4035 OSX 10.12.3 org.netkas.driver.FakeSMC (1372) net.osx86.kexts.GenericUSBXHCI (1.2.11) No other custom kexts are in place. By default sleep does not work on this machine at all but if I add SSDT.aml or DSDT.aml then I can put it down and wake it up, everything is peachy but after about 2 hours in sleep it would spin up it's fans for couple of seconds and turn off. This is something specific to OSX since machine sleeps well under Ubuntu for prolonged time periods. Here are my pmset settings: System-wide power settings: Currently in use: standby 0 Sleep On Power Button 1 womp 1 autorestart 0 hibernatefile /var/vm/sleepimage powernap 0 networkoversleep 0 disksleep 10 sleep 60 (sleep prevented by screensharingd) autopoweroffdelay 86400 hibernatemode 0 autopoweroff 0 ttyskeepawake 1 displaysleep 2 standbydelay 4200 I have tried many things to fix this issue, among those: Making DSDT using MaciASL + 'generic sandy bridge' patch Generating SSDT.aml Using DSDT + SSDT alone or together Using different darkwake settings Trying different pmset settings to no avail. Can anyone help me with this? I attach a zip with following files: config.plist from clover System DSDT.dsl: Clean DSDT without any patches ssdt.dsl and ssdt.aml, both output from clean (no dsdt) system using ssdtPRGen.sh v15.6 AppleIntelInfo output (generated after booting with SSDT.dsl from the step above) Thank you! sabertooth_p67.zip

don.key
Hi Hervé, MaLd0n, Thank you for input. Hervé: You where right on P States and C States generation, KernelPm, machine sleeps now for prolonged time (blinking power light). Unfortunately.... while machine is sleeping for longer time now it will not wake up from sleep longer then 15min, the symptoms are: When I hit some button machine will power on the fans, spin up disks and then turn off. Quite a troublesome Motherboard that Sabertooth P67..... What I have done: Use my setup as in initial message (no DSDT, SSDT, kexts as listed) and removed P States, C States, KernelPm. Result: System sleeps for long time but will not wake up from 15+ min sleeps. Remove GenericUSBXHCI, rebuild cache. Result same as in 1 Replace FakeSMC, clover config and DSDT with ones provided by MaLd0n. Result same as in 1 Remove SSDT.aml, same result Put back SSDT.aml and try all possible darkwake settings, no help I attach my current setup: config.plist SSDT.aml DSDT.aml (the one from MaLd0n) Custom kexts in use: org.netkas.driver.FakeSMC (1421) com.insanelymac.IntelMausiEthernet (2.2.0) No others, I try to keep system as slim as possible (at expense of some functionality missing) until this one issue is resolved. MaLd0n
U can test files? sabertooth_p67 02.zip Replace all, reboot and send me ioreg extract with Ioreg Explorer http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=222606

don.key
Hi Hervé, Thank you, I tried it, when I remove CpuPm drop then nothing happens (all is the same, machine turns off on wake after 15+ min sleeps). When I remove Cpu0lst or both then machine powers off even when woken up immediately after going into sleep. So, Cpu0lst drop does allow machine to be woken up from <15min sleeps.

don.key
No log entries exist for recent wakes, last 2 entries I see are: 2017-03-16 15:49:18.732347+0100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: XHC HDEF EH01 2017-03-16 15:49:18.732348+0100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: XHC HDEF EH01 Which is interesting because I *did* wake up machine today while doing tests in <15min window. I can understand why there are no entries when machine turns off but when I do wake up from blinking power led state, I should see an entry, no? P.s. clock is and was correctly set.
MaLd0n
check, just test DSDT.aml.zip but dont wake from mouse or keyboard, u need wake from power button
don.key
Wake via power button 1 minute after sleep with new DSDT made a entry: 2017-03-18 21:25:01.763940+0100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: PWRB (User) 2017-03-18 21:25:01.763941+0100 localhost kernel[0]: (AppleACPIPlatform) Wake reason: PWRB (User) Wake after 15 min again powered off the machine and made no log entry. Another interesting observation: When machine wakes up properly I first hear fans, then see led blink in my mouse, then cdrom spin up and then see display. When machine turns off I first hear fans, then cd spin up and then it turns off. And one more thing, this is not limited to one machine, I actually have 3 Sabertooth P67 based hackintoshes and all of them show this symptom, so it is not a broken board or anything like that. don.key
Update: I have up on trying to fix Sabertooth P67 and replaced them with GA-Q77M-D2H boards that seem to work on a quick glance.
