Good! thanks alot!

Just tried this; added ram info in smbios section of config.plist and now it post ok with two sticks.

Behaviour noted by other owners of this Asus z370 prime-A board. idk how to resolve this in another way for now. Will certainly start a tread about this board after more testings.

Here is my config if it can help others passing by ( u don't have to input the exact ram speed info to succeed apparently )

attachicon.gifconfig.plist.zip

with infos add ur problem solve?

Hello Maldon

I gonna build my new hackintosh based on your mobo

(GA-Z270-Gaming K3)

skylake i5 6600 3.30 GHz.

RAM CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX BLACK 8GB (2X4GB) DDR4 2666MHZ DUAL KIT.

Would you like to share your clover folder, because the clover in head of guide is kind of empty. I am not the clover expert but I think in config.plist the SMBIOS doesn’t match my future system.

Also I would ask you about your DSDT. May I use it in clover from very beginning, I mean on installation of High Sierra?

ram info in SMBIOS tab in config.plist:

slot/size/freq/vendor/ddr type

Now i'm trying to install Sierra on that same rig that just works perfectly with high Sierra. I'm stuck at the +++++++++++++++++++++ sign in the boot cycle. Tried your install clover, and everything i could read... Is there any special step we should do for Sierra ?

Hi MaLd0n

I just today installed macOS on my new hackintosh.

Everything moved like a charm. the only problem was the Evga GTX 550Ti. Can't boot into macOS with Nvidia Gpu. Only with integrated Intel HD530....

there is the files. If I made (send) wrong files, just tell me and I'll fix it.

And sorry for my English.

Send me Alexandr’s iMac.zip

Hi MaLd0n,

Some months ago, you helped me with getting an older mobo going. Now I'm helping a friend with his new machine, which will help you with your Beer Fund!

We did the basic install (almost entirely following your instructions).

It boots 10.12.6 Sierra, has Ethernet, sleeps, wakes (with TWO button presses), does actually shut-down and looks pretty good overall.  The graphics card is causing a bit of a slowdown during boot, though.

The system is a:

Gigabyte GAZ270X-UD3 (with F7 BIOS, PCB is Rev. 1.0)

32 GB RAM

7700K

GeForce 210 (I know, right!?!  He's going to upgrade that in a few months)

Please take a look, and let us know what you see (and a DSDT would be great).

(BTW: I did have to update the version of USBInjectAll.kext to get the 3.0 ports working.)

Thanks!

Done.

Sleeps, wakes with Power Button.  Shuts down properly.

During boot it still has a delay of about 2 minutes because of "IOHDACodecFunction" (see attached pic), which I'm fairly sure is caused by the audio-on-HDMI-port of the video card.

Should I go ahead with Piker-Alpha's SSDT stuff for Power Management?  I just realized I did not yet do that.

Thanks!

Bing! Now it boots in seconds   :w00t:

You are a giant among men.  Beer funds sent!    :thumbsup_anim:

Thank you so very much!  I spent hours trying to figure that out.

Is it possible to avoid the "Disk Not Ejected Properly" for USB Flash Drives, when waking from Sleep?

:)

U see warning but usb stick mount normal after sleep?

Yes...?

It does show up mounted, but with that error/warning message.  I thought that meant it was ejected at Sleep, and then re-mounted at 'wake' time.

If you have a document (saved on the Flash Drive) open at the time of sleep, does it survive?  Or does it get corrupted?

Hi MaLd0n.

Unfortunately GTX 550 Ti doesn't work.

Also I saw that in system report says that "This computer does not appear to have any PCI Ethernet cards installed."

I tried both kexts from your preinstallation clover, but no luck.

Here I sent you my origin tables for DSDT and also SSDT

Thank you in advance!

Hi,

I tried one of your clover config I found on this thread for my MSI Z270 Gaming 5 but ended with a Panic.

The config is :

MOBO MSI Z270 Gaming M5 with the latest bios (E7A78 11/20/2017)

     Proc i7 6700 @ 3.4

     Mem 16Gb

Thanks for an updated config :)

go to fresh install, install clover, replace folder, reboot

BTW, dont use NVWebDriverLibValFix

Hi Mald0n,

Thanks for the config but it still doesn't solve the nvidia crash during boot on the infamous glLockScreen....

It works with the internal card only.

Thanks for any inputs!

Sacha
