Phaetherap Posted March 8, 2017 Share Posted March 8, 2017 Hi everyone, I have a laptop acer e5 574g Intel i5 6200u nVidia GeForce 920m and Intel HD 520 I got the mackintosh working, but the screen is flickering, I've installed GeForce WebDriver, but I think that this won't working, I know that wifi is incompatible, I'm using a eternal usb card for this problem. Phaetherap Posted March 11, 2017 Author Share Posted March 11, 2017 (edited) try it CLOVER.zip Don't working see screenshots attached, I getting the message "Still waiting for root device" I try remove your disable_nv=1 argument, but get the same error. the process that I done in EFI was: zip CLOVER folder and rename the zip to CLOVER.bak.zip; delete CLOVER folder; and lastly paste CLOVER folder that you send me. now I'll try to boot with my config but with disable_nv=1 argument, I'll notice here if it's work. EDIT #1 I notice that I was already booting with this argument, I try to remove the argument in clover menu, and the OSX boot normally, like when I'm using the nv_disable=1 and the graphics have the same behavior with the argument and without it. I try to do the fresh install and still getting this message "Still waiting for root device", after that I deleted the clover folder and put the old again, now graphics acceleration working, audio working, but the brightness still low. Now everything work ok, just the brightness is low at built-in monitor, and when I click on the Displays on System preferences, I got the error "Could not load Displays preference pane." I try to change de brightness using fn key + right arrow, don't worked, fn + up to volume is working.
