busratio and fsb works for chameleon and clover ! 

Interested that if wrong memory ram ...

I think that clover is bad ... =)))

I already had a discussion with Slice a long time ago about the flag "busratio" and he always told me that this flag did not work on clover, "fsb" yes, there are other flags scheduled to This effect for determined the busratio and the fsb, in any case with the kernel auto 16.5, no flag changes the kernel clock, the value is well set and good for the 1700 :) if it allows to start with clover, Why not but normally has no impact. When I overclock my Ryzen, it takes the bios values and not the flag I could have written :)

In any case, even if the clock is not good, this does not prevent to start macOS.

It is strange, because if not used the keyboard doesn't work, it will reach the log in screen but no entry. It should not be needed but it does work.

 

Is the problem? Slide=0 rootless=0 keepsymbols etc... because it worked for two people with ncpi=0x3000 busratio=30 only.

 

I tired many times with your config.plist and files but it didn't work the same as Ciro82. I have X370 board with USB 3.1 type A and type C and every attempt ended with USB error using your configuration. Maybe the X370 configuration needs different parameters?

 

Another strange anomaly in clover is my Ram is listed as 8gb Kingston 2600MHz, but in chameleon it is listed correctly as 32gb 2400MHz. It is Crucial ram not Kingston.

 

The problem comes from different motherboards and their different bios and chipsets;)

Asus AMI bios works fine without problems, clock ram 2133 corsair is true :)

 

Clover gives a lot of cosmetic values that do not have real effects on proper operation, audio is a good way to see if your clock is well set, you can compare video / audio recordings with windows to see if the Clock is correct, in clover boot.log also.

 

in clover I wrote 3000 Mhz, the real tsc of my cpu is this: Calibrated TSC frequency =2994828300 =2994MHz

 

look with busratio=35, no change value ;)

Maybe try adding WiFi ID to Devices in clover i.e... 0x????XXXX.     My Atheros WIFI went wacky when I fixed Ethernet.   Does your Ethernet work?

 

Remove EMUVariables in Drivers64UEFI to try fix Nvram issue.    Probably don't need all those 64UEFIdrivers.    see attachment.

Check boot csr 0x28 and active CSR 0x67? It's in Systems Preferences in clover config.plist. Are you using rootless=0, maybe try with and without?

Anyone managed to sucessfully run sierra on the 1600? or should it not matter what kernel and bootloader I use?

 

I ran a 1500X and a 1700 on the same mobo and disk configuration.    It should not matter.    Whats more important is your mobo and other devices like ethernet, wifi, graphics.

I found problem, it a rookie move, after installing clover boot loader I replace clover folder and it contains "config.plist" with Kingston 8gb 2600 in SYMBios section.     I use this plist and open with clover configurator to edit new Symbols, and other edits but did not notice or look at this edit.    I removed it and now have 32gb 2400 ram.   I'm not where I got this config.plist from but problem solved,    It was operator error, lol!

Hey guys,

 

After having been able to run 10.12.4 on my hardware, I have unable to be able to do it again.

 

I have a running copy on my external Harddrive that i can use to try and fix stuff etc, but that is running Bronya's very first kernel and boot.

 

I cannot get an installer to run with Bronya's newer kernels and boot files.

 

I am stuck at IOconsoleusers gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0 bs 0

 

Once i reach this point it restarts, i have tried everything from changing display ports to making new usb installers countless times.

 

The only way i can use Ryzen is running Kernel v1. I have updated my bios (ASUS PRIME X370-PRO BIOS 0612) perhaps it is something to do with that?

 

If anyone knows a fix for this, i'd greatly appreciate it. I've tried to use clover as well but I am just getting restart back to bios after i select the installer. 

 

Very frustrating, considering i was running a stable install for a while.

 

Edit: I just updated to PRIME X370-PRO BIOS 0803 Beta BIOS with AGESA 1.0.0.6

 

I am still getting the same issue, however, i am now able to run my memory at full speed for the first time since Ryzen launch. 2133MHz @ launch to 3200MHz now.

Thanks a million for your kernels and boot files for Ryzen 1700X hackintosh:

Bronya 2667 bootloader working at 10.9.5/10.10.5/10.116/10.12.x with minor power management issue which can not restart or load Nvidia Web Driver at 10.12.x.

Clover 4078 bootloader working at 10.12.x which can restart and load Nvidia Web Driver correctly.

Clover 4078 bootloader can boot to desktop at 10.9.5 with major issues which timer running too fast and very very poor performance.

Although I have set correct values of CPU in config.plist, after login desktop it can not be maintained correctly as shown by Console image here.(TSC frequency decreased from 3800 to 600 !)

Clover 4078 bootloader got reboot during booting at 10.10.5 and 10.11.6.

Any plan to fix the above issues ?

Or preparing to 10.13 beta (High Sierra) new project ?

Give this a try.   For first boot hit space bar select: verbose, single user, keepsymbols, don't reboot, and debugkexts.     root:   mount -uw   enter,   fsck -fy.   enter, exit.

Clover Ryzen build Sierra 12.5. with auto kernel 16.5  boot arg.   npci=0x3000 busratio=36.    CPU setings in clover left blank or 000000 values.    I'm only using boot argument to set CPU frequency.    Running very stable.

 

Edit:    I had Mac Pro 2.1 for Symbios new 2.2 package has Mac Pro 6.1 definition.     If you had error that Mac OS X could not install on this machine.
