Hello

My first post, excuse me if I had missed the right forum.

Question: Is it possible to build an Hackintosh with dual boot on two different SSD for mac OS10.11 El Capitan, and Windows 7,

but also with two different independent graphic cards: Nvidia Quadro K4000 3G only for Mac, and Nvidia GTX 1060 6G only for Windows?

Usage: video editing 4K and gaming on Windows, and video editing and music on Mac.

My components:

MB ASUS X99 A-II

Intel I 7 6800K 3,4Ghz

RAM HyperX Savage Black Series 16 Go (2 x 8 Go) - DDR4 2400 MHz Cas 12

Power Seasonic Platinum +  660W

Nvidia Quadro k4000 PNY 3G (PC)

Nvidia GeForce gtx KFA 1060 6G

SSD Samsung M2 950 Pro 256G (Win)

SSD Sandisk Ultra II 250G (Mac)

Case Fractal Design Define 5

I can't find nowhere a tread  on two independent Graphic cards for dual boot in the same build.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

That setup poses a pretty interesting issue, as both of those GFX cards are both compatible with at least one of your operating systems(windows obviously), even so its not as if one of the cards would just not power on once the computer boots. My guess is that it wouldn't really work if only because you would have two different cards with two different chipsets both in the same motherboard at the same time, which may cause other issues. Although I haven't any experience with a setup like you want, i believe that the only way you'll be able to use 2 different GFX cards independently of each other is to annoyingly unplug the one not in use beforehand, which is clearly not practical. Or you could look into some sort of external graphics card solution, but hey I could be completely incorrect about that. I am interested in seeing if it'd actually work somehow.

Cheers
