Good day,

i made some progress on my dual CPU system and am finally able to reliably boot into 10.12.1.

Im running an Asus Z10PE-D8 WS motherboard with 2x E5-2667 V4 Engineering Sample CPUs (8 Cores, 2,9ghz base, 3,2ghz Turbo all cores)

I am good in following 1:1 tutorials, youtube guides, etc... I'm not an IT expert and only limited familiar with Terminal (around the level of copy and paste :) )

So far i have the following Kext in my Others file:

i can see in the intel power gadget some movement on the clock speeds, however its seams that it is currently topping out at 3,0ghz.

i have been trying to generate my own ssdtPRGen, however and as expected it returns like this:

i believe the information for my CPUs should be like this:

Processor Number                                                                     E5-2667 V4 ES (QHVD)

       TDP                                                                                               135W

Low Frequency Mode (use AppleIntelInfo.kext)                1200 MHz

       Base Frequency                                                                         2900 MHz

       Max Turbo Frequency                                                              3200 MHz

       Cores                                                                                            8 per CPU

       Threads                                                                                        16 Per CPU

Is there anybody around that could take me by the hand and guide me through the process... also I'm not sure if i need al the kext that i have currently installed, and if the combination makes sense...

last but not least please find below some geek bench results:

Thank you!

Max

Just to let you know, i basically don't need power management, if there is a solution that pins down my CPU speed at 3,2ghz max all the time this would be perfectly fine for me swell... i only use the machine if it is busy and needs to be fast, so i could easily live with the little extra power it sucks through the wall...

It does 3.2GHz single core turbo but all core turbo is limited to 3.0GHz.
