I installed mavericks on my 2007 mac mini via SFOTT.

I am having audio & video issues.

After googling a bit I was directed to download drivers from this link in order to solve my problems.

https://www.file-upload.net/download-8358440/mac-mini-mavericks.7z.html

The problems is that link has gone dead.

can anyone provide me a link to this driver?

there is a hack which enables some kind of compatibility on mavericks.

that is what the software in that dead link does.

if anyone can provide an alternate download link for the 5.71 mb file, i would be most grateful

Amazon video is a bit wonky on Lion. I was wondering if I downgraded to 10.6.8, the full graphic acceleration will help me with better Amazon video playback on chrome browser.

The reason I was performing these gymnastics with Mavericks was kodi v17 requires 10.8 and chrome browser requires 10.9

I guess I'll stay at 10.7.5 and hope these two apps will work in the near future.

Despite my gripes, the 2007 mac mini works fine as a kodi player with plex plugin & a year old plex server.

It plays 720p just fine. Since I have a 24" TV, 1080p would be useless to me.

Playing amazon video is a pain on chrome which is why I dual boot with Windows 7 to be able to play Amazon video on the latest chrome browser.

Buying a Mac mini just to serve as a media centre is a bit overkill, IMO.

When kodi becomes unusable on this machine, I'll either buy a roku/fire stick or a cheap used Mac mini to play kodi/Plex & amazon/Netflix.
