Numberzz
This is off topic, but how do you pronounce Wii. Like Wee or what?
McSkywalker
Here is the answer, ajb01. And if I buy one of them, it will most probably be Playstation 3.
Numberzz
Thanks, I heard someone pronounce it for the first time in South Park, so I thought is was a joke.

jgrimes80
Nintendo (NES) - it was both my first and last system; I owned 3 (maybe 4) games which were all in the Mario Bros series. I can't believe how popular these systems are... I've always understood their purpose on a rainy day, or maybe late at night with a bunch of friends, but I think too many parents are letting their kids take it to the extreme. They act like their life simply falls apart without it. My nephew, for Christ's sake, brings his own TV (I don't have one & don't want one) and everything when he simply spends the night(1). The more people I meet with kids, the more normal this kind of behavior seems to be and it seems to coincide with an anti-social personality... Maybe it's no different than my knack for taking things apart and re-building them... What are your guy's experiences?

What are your guy's experiences? i think that like all other things, gaming can be both good and bad. it offers a way to connect with other people, and people you already know (no matter how bad the relationshis is with my bro at the moment, we can always find some common ground when gaming). there are people that take it way too far though. it shouldn't be the only thing you do and you should be able to go a day or two without picking up the controller without having your life fall apart. i know this one kid that he games constantly from the time he gets home to the time he goes back to school. he sleeps maybe two hours, and tries to get all his hw done on the bus. that's taking WAY TOO FAR, his parents need to step in. it's just not healthy: physically, mentally, and socially. oh, i hava 360 (not planning on getting any of the others). live rocks! gameguy132
Im gonna go with the Wii, its too bad that it doesnt have dvd playback but, thats what a dvd player is for! I limit myself about an hour or two and if i still want to play video games i make sure i have my HW done and play DDR to stay fit. Theres a nice strategy. i think i went about the last 2 months w/o video games, then we got our wires back. of course i give an exception to a great game like KH. Zealot
i m getting myself a 360 because it has the largest game collection and because it has all the pc games that couldnt be released on pc because of windows Vista delay (dx10) like call of duty 3, crysis ,etc.......... by the way i think the next gen war will be more tight than the last one because of Wii new control , i already try it and its great. saludos. greetings
cleric.retribution
I would love to get an xbox360, as well as a Wii. The wii can play classic games (not that I can't already via zsnes, etc...but meh). The Xbox360 is just a cool system -- not quite enough motivation to spend $400 on one for me, but if I had the cash, I would get one in an instant. gameguy132
Mix, instead of buying the thing and (very unlikely) finding out its a load of junk. Go to your freindly local neighborhood gamestop, most of them have a Wii to demo. Or if you go to their website, they have malls you can go to demo it.
