Foxic
Hi, this isn't just related to Sierra but seeing as that's what I'm running I thought I'd post here. I have an EX58-UD5 based system (in signature), water-cooled using 3 fan headers (1 is on a Y cable so 4 fans) Using SYS FAN 1, PWR FAN and SYS FAN 2. Water pump is wired to speed and PWM header on CPU FAN. There is no fan on the graphics card. With HWMonitor I see the following I need to shift all the fans down 1 and get rid of 'GPU Fan' all together. The voltages of the 3v rail and some others are also a bit wrong. I found a few old threads relating to IOSensors.kext but I'm using FakeSMC_ACPISensors.kext, FakeSMC_CPUSensors.kext, FakeSMC_GPUSensors.kext and FakeSMC_LPCSensors.kext. I don't seem to get a chipset message in kernel.log or dmesg like with IOSensors (from what I've read) so can't work out which section of the plist within each kext to exit. Also I can find sections for gigabyte but none specifically for my board, I could manually add a section but how would I get that new section detected and used. I've not played with HWMonitor so am a bit lost, any help would be appreciated Thanks James
liujianwei
dmesg does not related to chipset or IOsensors or any other kexts your HWSensor is OK
