Hi Guys, Havent been on the forum in a few years due to owning a Macbook or 2, then we got rid of it, Mrs bought a iMac and im stuck on a windows laptop, well not for long because im back to play!

Basically ive been trying to install yosemite, el capitan, sierra onto my probook 4520s, following this guide:

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-yosemite-10-10-2-on-hp-probook-4520s-i3-clover.159233/

Basically im stuck at this bit

**

Once you have your ##### USB we have to do some work on it.
Start by going into the USB drive then go to:
System/Library/Extensions/

And we want to find 2 files and copy them to another USB (or in a folder you create on the installer USB):
AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext
AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext

After you have copied them, you need to remove them.

Once those two files are copied and removed we are done with the ##### USB.

**

And for this reason is because when i go onto my install USB i have EFI_backups & i also have Install OSX (whichever edition ive tried all 3) but i cant view the system folder to remove the kexts which i am guessing are the reason the installer is rebooting!

Please help ive been stuck for days :(!

UNSOLVED, i can get into the folders but cant see files within!

Please read: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/

If you want help with t*nymacx86 software, ask for help on their forum.

That said, I assume whatever software you used followed the method of imaging BaseSystem.dmg to the USB disk. The System folder should be visible, but if it's not then with Finder as the app in focus, on the menu bar select Go -> Go to Folder... and type in /Volumes/<name of USB disk>/System and that should get you there. Alternatively you can open up Terminal and type in:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles yes && killall Finder

then after replacing the old kexts with the new, turn it back off:

defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles no && killall Finder
