Graphics engine hang issue

Just about any animation in Safari causes the graphics engine to hang, sometimes it recovers and others I have to force shutdown. It happens when I move a window around or when I click on a Facebook notification that opens in Safari. Sometimes even opening Safari causes the hang. The "Genie" animation causes it the most but even the "Scale" animation causes it as well. The zip file attached contains the message I get in console, my DSDT, SMBIOS, IOReg, and Enoch config file. I have an Inspiron N5110, Sandy Bridge, Core i3-2350m with HD3000, El Capitan 10.11, Enoch boot loader.

Change the refresh rate to 40Hz and report back

Actually, it should be the opposite. I now remember experiencing similar issues on my E62x0 laptops if LCD refresh was set to 40Hz. I made sure to set refresh rate to 60Hz through Display Menu app (free off AppStore) and the issues disappeared.

On quite a few Sandy Bridge laptops you will get the same result with 60Hz, changing to 40Hz will fix the problem. The issue here lies in the display panel's pixel clock rate, too high for OS X
