davidovi Posted November 2, 2006 Share Posted November 2, 2006 Geforce 7800 GTX PCIe works perfectly with high framerates, CI/QE enabled, Refresh and Resolution selection, with first released Titan. Lastest Version forks flawlessly, appears correctly in system profiler. blkblt Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 I should also add that with an ATI x1600 PRO + new kernel, I had issues with USB audio, which glitched when I scrolled pages in Firefox, or did other "graphics" things. With the 7900 GS I have none of these issues. As far as benchmarks, XBench (which I've come not to trust much for graphics) shows around the same score as my GMA950, but CineBench shows the 7900 ahead of the x1600 PRO. I didn't bother doing a CineBench of the GMA950. Also, I've noticed (subjectively), that the ATI and NVidia *definitely* produce smoother desktop animations (like hitting F12). /blkblt Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
