jonny789 Posted December 11, 2016 Share Posted December 11, 2016 I have acer laptop with Windows 10 and linux installed. I want to install sierra on it. I dont have any Mac system or hackintosh pc. The guides which I found on internet , require a mac system to create a usb installer .I have Sierra dmg file.Please guide me how to create sierra usb installer in windows or linux. Then you'll be able to create usb installer of Sierra inside the virtual machine. nawcom Posted January 2, 2017 Share Posted January 2, 2017 I followed this guide https://techsviewer.com/install-macos-sierra-virtualbox-windows/ and downloaded virtualbox file from there but on booting I am getting this error :: It looks like you either forgot to run the VBoxManage commands to write in the SMC key and Mac model or you did it wrong. It shouldn't be listing your real laptop model in there but instead the Mac model you picked, and the kp is due to you lacking a virtualized SMC.
