Funky frank
Hi, am using recent rehab man + capslockfix voodoops2 driver to make the touchpad in my sony vaio f11 usable. Now sadly the touchpad is not detected by the apple touchpad preferences. Can I somehow configure the mouse speed for the touchpad ? Its so nasty slow... Also I would love to slow down rolling speed and add right click on double touch... Any clue how I could achieve that? Thanks for help!
SavageAUS
You could try appleps2smarttouchpad found here http://forum.osxlatitude.com/index.php?/topic/1948-elan-focaltech-and-synaptics-smart-touchpad-driver-mac-os-x/ Make sure to remove voodoops2 first. Funky frank
Hey, many thanks for that hint. ps2smarttouchpad actually works better and comes with a prefs panel, too! Only thing is now, the scrolling capability of the touchpad on the right side disappeared. Have to press CTRL now... Also the pointer speed is now better (set to max in prefs), but still a bit slow esp on slow movements. Any idea how to fix those problems? No idea why your pointer is so slow sorry.

Yes, 2 finger scrolling does not work with that driver, strangely. I believe my touchpad does not support multitouch at all? Though it has such a "scrolling area" on the right side by default - which disppears using that driver. How can find out what exact type of touchpad this notebook is using? SavageAUS
If your dual booted with windows you can find out in driver information or with a linux live usb with lspci -nn
