usx
I have a built with Gigabyte z77-ds3h. I managed to get all my ports working after upgrading from ElCap to Sierra, however my USB3 ports won't allow more than 500mA anymore. I booted a clone of my ElCap installation and under ElCap USB3 does deliver more than 500mA from all of my USB3 ports. Has anyone found an "easy" way to enable USB3 high-power output? usx
Thanks. Unfortunately I haven't dealt with custom DSDTs so far. I built my box with gigabyte motherboard in the hopes to avoid meddling with such fixes, and up until now everything has worked perfectly out of the box. I guess I'll live with 500mA power until someone finds a way to get this working through a clover patch :-)
Jolly
If you want provide a clean DSDT, hit sometimes F4 at the Clover GUI and wait some seconds before booting, you see nothing happen but now you find your DSDT.aml in EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/origin. Zip it before attaching and do the same with your config.plist
nandor690
On my z77-ds3h, Im not running any kind of modified dsdt for usb. the only thing I am using is kext from macman. All my usb 3.0 ports show that 500 mA are available on them.
