infernouk
Hey guys I am looking into a hackintosh laptop as an alternative to a macbook pro, i already run a desktop, but obviously the fixed hardware in a laptop has me wondering if there is a general 'best' choice on the market in terms of compatibility? Thanks for any assistance here!
SavageAUS
I don't think there is one particular laptop but apparently the hp probook range is good. Most common change of hardware needed is WiFi. There are plenty of guides in the laptop forum that should help point you in the right direction. My Asus TP500LN was tricky at first but once I changed the WiFi + BT and disabled the touchscreen for Mac it was pretty straight forward. WaldMeister
Hi, I've given up on Acer and Toshiba for the obvious reason that the bios is locked and nearly impossible to flash with a custom image. The Dell Inspiron was pretty good, had to replace the wifi and the cardreader did not work. Saving up for a new laptop at the moment, and going with HP since the reports on compatibility are good.
