thefiredragon Posted November 26, 2016 Share Posted November 26, 2016 Hallo @all, I'm new here at your forum and try my luck here, I'm using my Lenovo yoga 710 with macOS Sierra, I have patched my dsdt and ssdts for native power management. The only big problem I have is my Fan noise, This is not a only a problem by running Mac on my laptop.There are a thread by Lenovo over the fan noise from the yoga 710. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-710-Constant-Fan-Noise-even-when-idle/td-p/3354501 the solution is to control the ec over acpi , so it can also implement to the dsdt to control the fan, But I don't have acpi programming skills and want to ask here for help. I would donate for a solution, cause I really want to solve this.Under windows and linux the nbfc program works great.
