I think that this might be one of your bios options that isn't enabled or disabled, make sure your DVMT-Prealloc is set at 96MB 

you can reach the advanced tab on MSI with Shift + Right CRTL + ALT+ F2

im not responsible if your machine breaks

i did that as well and I'm still using my MSI GS60 but i don't know about graphics card in a pc.

 

Keep in mind that u have to make sure that u installed the right kexts, and that if u have a 4k screen u need to patch it
