hanconquer
I wanna buy a GIGABYTE BRIX Gaming UHD (GB-BNi7HG4-950) to build my Hackintosh. Below is the spec. Will I encounter any problem with this spec? Is NVMe SSD difficult to deal with? Thank you. Broadcom cards or atheros cards work but need work to instal.
Gigamaxx
I have a MSI Cubi 004, Intel i3 5005u, it has intel 5500 graphics, which are recognized in Windows, but in Sierra it registers as Intel Iris 6100. Have you checked to see if the 950 will handle 4k graphics in gaming mode? I think most people insist you need at least a 980ti or two 980 to play medium settings at 30 fps. even on the lowest settings you may be unable to play in 4k with a 950 card. Check out reviews and benchmarks for the card and see if its doable. For the price of that system you could build a mini ITX system and use a more powerful card for about the same price. The size will be a little larger but performance could double for gaming with a 980ti. For 1080p it would be a pretty cool setup, imo.
schiarat
Hi, the only problem is the bt/wi-fi adapter that isn't supported. Disable vt-d in bios. set osx boot options to: cpus=4 nvdrivers=0 nv_drv=0 nvda_drv=0 to install then use the nvidia web drivers from nvidia site after installation, and the APPLE HDA PATCHER for sound driver (i used ##### to install driver on systems) Works fine with Sierra 10.12.1 to boot system, i used this boot args in CLOVER: dart=0 cpus=4 kext-dev-mode=1 That's all
