Recommendation for a Dual Processor Socket 2011 Mainboard?

Hello,

Long time Mac user but I'm new to Hackintosh. I've become disillusioned by the hardware Apple is currently selling and I would like to build my first Hackintosh to replace my up-cycled Mac Pro 2010 (X5690, 128GB). For parts I already have two first generation Intel Xeon E5-2670 (16 cores total) and sixteen sticks of 16GB 2Rx4 PC3L-12800R (256GB total). I need a LGA 2011 mainboard for these. I would prefer a board that "just works" with very minimal hacking.

  • Support for first generation Intel Xeon E5-2670
  • At least 16 DIMM module slots. ECC
  • At least two PCIe x16 slots.
  • No onboard video. (I have a Nividia GTX 980 with Mac rom)
  • At least one PCIe x1 or x4 slot. (need x1 or x4 for Apple's BCM94360CD WiFi/BT card)
  • I'm currently using USB speakers (JBL Pebbles), so technically I don't need a sound card.
  • Need a Gigabit ethernet port.

You can try the Asus Z10PA boards and dual Xeon E5-2699V3. Other parts is to your choice since the dealbreaker when it comes to dual CPUs hackintosh is the board and CPUs itself. Many people on this forum will be gladly to help you finish the installing process

I use an ASRock  EP2C602-4L/D16  motherboard with dual E5 2670 v2  , I have 128GB of ram , and a GTX 970 GPU, , USB audio since no audio is on the board , I use a USB3 Card , no USB 2 on Sierra , I had USB2 working on Yosemite , they don't work on Sierra anymore , I am  still learning and tuning  this machine , I have a Geekbench of 30550, I am  sure we could make it higher , so this motherboard might work for you ... I also have a Asus Z9PA-D8 but it never posted
