Budget build recommendation starting with Mountain Lion install that will support newer OSX versions

Hi All,

I'm currently experimenting with some hardware I have to hand just to broaden my knowledge working with Hackintosh installation etc.

This is a pretty ambiguous question but could anybody recommend a set of hardware that would work out of the box for a budget Mountain Lion build but would also work with some of the later OSX versions. This system would not be for gaming or video editing but mainly design work using Illustrator, Photoshop etc.

I guess the main components are Motherboard, CPU, Memory and Discrete GFX as I'm assuming these would be most likely problem areas? I've currently considered the following:

Gigabyte Z97 DH3 Motherboard

Intel i5 4460

nVidia 740GT

Crucial Ballistix 8gb (2 x 4gb kit)

Samsung 840 EVO 250gb

Corsair System Builder CX500

Would the above hardware work with little if no addition kext work arounds etc. One of my biggest stumbling blocks to date has been getting audio working.

Thanks in advance!
