FMAranda
Did you try to add the boot flag slide=100? Hibernation on my Vaio only worked after I add that boot flag to Clover's config.plist. Also, my hibernate mode is set to 25.
Vinicius P. Miranda
Erase the sleep image, reboot and try again. Look: Sleep, Hibernation - How it works? and How to use? Allan, can you give me some information? At some cost I managed to make sleep work on my PC-Hackintosh. And now I have a doubt. In your post you said that it is not good to use Sleep on SSD, but if have a secondary HD could put the file from Sleep to the secondary HD. Doubt comes now. Who uses Fusion Drive, have an alternative? If I put the Sleep file in somewhere else, the Fusion Drive will pull it to the SSD, is there any way to put it on the 3TB HD without pulling it to the SSD? And this sounds strange, why Fusion Drive doesn't give you this permission? You already tried use the commands in my guide?
Vinicius P. Miranda
I never used Fusion Drive before. And this sounds strange, why Fusion Drive doesn't give you this permission? You already tried use the commands in my guide? A movement files in Fusion Drive are automatic. It put the system and the files/programs most used for the SSD and leaves the less used in HD. So I do not know if there's any way to choose where they stand. The Fusion Drive is seen as a single Macintosh HD, maybe if I move it directing to the HD by the terminal solve. Ex "sudo pmset -a hibernatefile /dev/disk3s2 /System/vm/..." The problem is that I find out that Sleep is only coming back when it is only a short time, about 5 minutes for example. When it stays for more than 10 min the system does not wake up, needing to click in cabinet reset button. I'll have to do more tests... If I have successfully put it on HD without it switching to the SSD I will send news. Thanks Allan. Obs. I am doing everything with your guide.
