naquaada
So, I set up a Sierra system yesterday and it worked rather fine. Now I get the usual problem: It is extremely slow, like Yosemite and El Capitan. I've added two Xbench Graphics screenshots below. I know it's old, perhaps it doesn't work on 10.10+ not correctly. The GUI score is just 21 ! And you notice this while working, Mavericks is really faster. I have a Core i7 3770S with HD4000, and I think it's correctly configured. I have 1536 MB VRAM, transparency etc. But I don't know if the graphics acclereator is on, how can I test it? On my Radeon HD6870 there will probably the same problem, but there I know that the graphics accelerator wasn't started in 10.9 and 10.11. Is there a newer graphics test program which also compares the GUI speed? Greets, naquaada. EDIT: I just noticed that Widgets don't wobble when they are opened. naquaada
Hm, just slightly better. In Yosemite the GUI speed was at least 72 - on my Radeon HD6870. Are Widgets wobbling when you add a new one? i'm using Dashboard as Overlay, not as Space.
