Darkknyte
I have an OSX Sierra guest running on an ESXi 6 host. It was updated from an originally Mavericks, then Yosemite VM. Like others, I have the same problem with the display resolution being locked to 1024x768. I have followed the advice given in other topics to use the script contained in the Library/Application Support folder, but the script was missing. After downloading it to the proper folder and chmod +x, I run it (with Sudo & password) and it simply returns "Unable to find the Service". I updated VMware tools using the host management client, and it confirms that a current version of VMware tools is running. Not sure where to go from here, but a bigger screen would be nice. Any advice?
