Hi guys,

as the title, after having searched on the net and read hundreds of place about, I am able to reproduce (partially) the nVidia optimus gt 520m on my Samsung RV520.
It states that on ML everything worked perfectly through a couple of kext.

My problerm is as follows: (Tests carried out both on that of Yosemite El Capitan)
Bootloader Clover, latest release, SMBIOS MacBookPro6,2 (do not tell me to try with 8.1 to 8.2 please, consider not start, already tried)

1) Starting with no DSDT.aml, enable some patches DSDT on clover, Inject nVidia disabled;

- OSX starts without problems, come to the desktop, have QE / CI working, but the very low screen brightness, also if I go to settings / screen, the monitor is detected as an external monitor and therefore, no brightness adjustment possible .

2) Same procedure but with Inject nVidia activated;

- OSX starts without problems, come to the desktop, Black Screen!

I suppose at this point it is appropriate to put hands in DSDT manually and try to find a solution.

Searching on the net, I found a DSDT patch on repo RehabMan (Thanks for the work you do!), I go to patch my DSDT, I delete flag on clover and reboot .... Black screen! again! well ... I must try to understand what is wrong ... I get a phone call, I get up and leave the PC turned on with the still black screen, I'm 10 minutes away, and I come back and I get back to work I move the mouse (a mouse wireless usb) miracle! the PC is in sleep, starts and I see appear the desktop with the right lighting, on settings / Display recognized as integrated display and the brightness control present and functioning.  :thumbsup_anim:

I put hands to the DSDT and I'm going to correct EDID this with mine, also patching Vram value since it was set to 1024mb and mine is 512MB, reboot, black screen! This time manually put to sleep by the command FN + Esc, the PC goes to sleep, I move my mouse and here again the desktop with working light, QE/CI active and correct display settings, same thing on About this Mac. :w00t:

I wonder if any of you have encountered a similar problem and how he solved it, put my DSDT and IOREG, so help me solve the problem.

Thanks for your help. ;)

Hi! my cpu is an i3 2310 but i cannot use intel HD3000 because this laptop has a optimus system and the HD3000 is locked by bios  :hammer:

btw, i seen your files, i think that you have used a lot of patch, if you try to boot without dsdt and select only DTGP,MCHC,SMBUS,NEWWAY,PNLF,ADP1 and in devices add clock ID, your system can sleep.

i don't know why doesn't work with MBP8,2 probably because my hd3000 is locked.... i'll do other test  ;)
