mrjayviper
setup info: According to cpuworld and verified on Linux using "cat /proc/cpuinfo", my CPU has SSE4, SSE4.1 and SSE4.2. I've tried SMBIOS MacPro 4.1 and 5.1. Both SYMBIOS works nicely on El Capitan. The only kext I added is FakeSMC which went to CLOVER/kexts/10.12. I didn't delete any kext provided by Apple. CLOVER/kexts/10.12 folder was not existing so I had to create this myself. I'm using latest Clover which I believe is 3771? It was released only 2-3 days ago. With that out of the way, please refer to the screenshot below. This is a screenshot of the installer log taken immediately after the USB installer booted into OS X. I then select "Install MacOS" from the selections. I believe there are 4 options and this includes the option to run Disk Utility. I then clicked on "Continue" and it get stuck after that. The installer log hasn't show anything new. But I can still interact with the screen. I can open terminal from the Utilities menu. But the installation won't proceed. The "Continue" button is just grayed out. Any ideas? Thank a lot edit 1: I forgot to say the stuff in the zip file has no problems when used with El Capitan. temp.zip
Kucksy
Hi from Troy I have the GM of MacOS Sierra running on a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R motherboard with a Xeon E5640 Processor, ASUS Strix GTX 960 Graphics Card and 16 GB of Kingston HyperX DDR3 1866 mhz ram - installed and working fine using the installer made using Pandoras Box. The only thing I did when creating the installer was insuring that "legacy installer mode" was enabled when I was creating the installer and it completed the install process fine for me (without the use of a DSDT.aml file). I am using the MacPro 5,1 system definition in SMBIOS

bigben1
mrjayviper, do a fresh install again after formatting your hdd, yes the latest clover is 3773 and if you have enough space on your installer usb add this boot loader for later use.you may have to use iMac 13 or 14 smbios. also disable SIP, once you boot up with usb installer add kexts to 10.12 folder or may be "other" folder. edit your config plist.reboot. i have attached some kexts for you ,try them. Kucksy
Hi from Troy - sorry for not getting back to you until now - I'm in Australia - Legacy Mode can be selected when you boot from the installer - and - as for bootloader - I use CloverEFI version r3763 and I did the same thing as you regarding the FakeSMC.kext - created a 10.12 folder under the kexts folder in /EFI/Clover/kexts/10.12 (I also put VoodooHDA.kext in there for my sound card) Hoping this helps you out Cheers from Troy
