To fix graphics flickering, you'll need to adjust the DVMT. Guide is for Broadwell, but it's the same for Skylake as well.

Your sound card is ALC255, you should be able to find it in this forum, search for AppleHDA Patcher.

You should get your DSDT/SSDT patch in order to get USB, webcam, etc to work.

From Clover GUI, hit F4 or Fn+F4 to extract the raw files to /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Origin.

You might want to disable the nvidia card through DSDT so you can have longer battery life.

As far as I can tell, Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 is[/size] not supported. Might have to replace with a supported card.

i see okay audio patched easily

now about dsdt is there a guide on how to patch it ?

about wifi what supported wifi card should i replace mine with?

sorry for being a bother

I'm an Android enthusiast rom dev and porter

i knew nothing of mac a week ago!

for educational purposes I'm trying to learn as much as i can

  • 4 weeks later...

i have the same model;

Thank you for sharing your EFI!

But it does not have mini PCIe, it has a NGFF M.2 wifi card.

Did you succesfully installed the HD520?

And if yes, how did you change the DVMT Prealloc to 64mb or more?

As it has a Bios write-protection

Yep mate those were the only 2 things i couldn't do

First our wireless card needs to be replaced(no method for injection trust me spent a whole week just searching for a solution)

And because of this i gave up also on DVMT too

But it should be doable just needs like a week to understand what should be done check guides mate
