Hey, does sleep work for you? My system won't wake up after sleep even on a clean install of Sierra on a spare drive.

EDIT- Turns out it's my Radeon 7850. Apparently it's a known problem since El Capitan and the only solution is to blind boot with the iGPU set to primary.

Hey i have the same board as you too, i'm currently running El Capitan, SMBIOS Mac Pro 3,1 i know this isn't compatible With 10.12 I'm Just wondering what SMBIOS to change too i have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 & how do you install the Web Drivers with iMac SMBIOS or is that not an issue anymore. Ive read a few posts that Installing the NVIDIA Web Drivers with SMBIOS Mac Pro 5,1 or 6,1 give a black screen after install.

Beautiful setup by the way & thanks for any help provided.

Hi Robert!

First of all, thank you very much for trying to help the community.

I have freshly installed Sierra in another partition to test if I can get it to work correctly.  Currently using Yosemite [10.10].

My setup is:

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-Z77-DS3H Rev. 1.1

CPU:   Core i7-3770K [4 cores | 8 threads]

RAM:   16GB

GPU:   Radeon HD 7770 | Intel HD 4000

M/KB:  Logitech Wireless Keyboard/Mouse

BL:       Clover 3994

Using your Clover config, I got the following results:

post-708484-0-56383900-1485982849_thumb.png

Booted successfully using your iMac13,2 configuration.

post-708484-0-54094200-1485982637_thumb.png

Everything seems OK here.

I currently have internal graphics enabled in my Motherboard.

My main monitor is connected via HDMI to the built-in gpu.  Running @ 1080p.

My second monitor is connected to the Radeon HD 7770 via DVI.  Running at 1280X1024.

Once I'm done testing how to get it running perfectly, I will move everything to the Radeon HD 7770.

But this means that, technically, I can have 4 monitors running right now.

My SATA is working perfectly.  I have all my drives recognized.

My problems come here:

1. AUDIO PROBLEMS:

Audio is not working for me.  Don't know why.  [i'm going to try VoodooHDA.kext to see if it works like that.]

post-708484-0-20118800-1485982662_thumb.png

Installing VoodooHDA.kext solved the no audio issue.  Just installed the Preference Pane in /Library/PreferencePanes to control the horrible white noise that came up on first boot using it.

post-708484-0-57865800-1485985532_thumb.png

Even though the VoodooHDA.kext worked.  I'm not a fan of having to install additional stuff to manage audio (Pane) and I rather keep my computer feel as vanilla as possible.

I found an additional way to fix the Audio issue using the AppleALC.kext (you can find it in GitHub) + AppleHDA.kext (untouched).

I copied the kexts to the 10.12 folder in the EFI partition of my Clover.

post-708484-0-75927600-1485994244_thumb.png

Then, I made sure the Audio configuration was right in Clover:

In the ACPI Tab, select "change HDAS to HDEF" from the drop down named "List of Patches".

Select FIXHDA.

post-708484-0-99970400-1485994369_thumb.png

In the Devices Tab, make sure the audio drop down is "1".

post-708484-0-09222200-1485994378_thumb.png

Now the audio works perfectly:

2. FRONT USB 2.0 PROBLEMS:

My Front USB is 'allegedly' recognized but whenever I plug anything there, it never shows up.

post-708484-0-43594600-1485982667_thumb.png

Currently have a Bluetooth Adapter and a USB Drive and they don't show up.

How to fix it:

Using MultiB Sierra, go to USB and select "7/8/9 Series USB Support" AND "Increase Max Port Limit".  I pointed to the Clover partition.  That way the kext were added to the Clover Partition and I moved them from there to the EFI partition.

post-708484-0-05479800-1485994609_thumb.png

Copy the kexts to the 10.12 folder in the EFI partition:

FakePCIID_XHCIMux.kext

FakePCIID.kext

USBInjectAll.kext

post-708484-0-75927600-1485994244_thumb.png

Check the Tab "Kernel and Kext Patches" Tab and make sure that the AppleUSBXHCIPCI is there.

post-708484-0-72910900-1485994614_thumb.png

This got my USB Fixed and I can see my Bluetooth and USB Drive.

post-708484-0-76429200-1485994622_thumb.png

Other than that, the system is pretty stable.

Everything is working perfectly right now.

I got my Radeon HD 7770 working by adding the Verde.kext to the 10.12 folder in the EFI partition of Clover.

Sleep is working perfectly.

I put the VoodooTSCSync.kext for 4 cores in 10.12 and it works.

Hi,

please can you upload your zipped EFI/Clover folder here?

Do i see rigth that in this thread no DSDT.aml is used , only Clover to patch beside those extra .kexts ?

Looks easy but isnt if you start from zerto :)

So upload of Clover folder would be very helpful - sure i must make some changes in screen res, GPU,....

Thanks

I can't upload my config.plist because I am using the serial number of my real MacBook Pro in it now.

But yes, you can do everything without a DSDT file.

I can however, upload my kexts if you'd like.

I'm currently running Sierra 10.12.2, because the 10.12.3+ update messes up the graphics and I haven't found a solution for that yet.

I'm also using the iMac16,2 setting this time and it works perfectly just like with iMac13,2.

OK, i understand that with serial number.

But cant you not simple edit this one serial number  item by XXXX in the config.plist and use that for uplaoding it here??

Also whole folder (which .efi drivers are used and  kext folder ) would be nice for others.
