Frank Nitty
I successfully installed 10.12 on my X58 rig. Everytime I drag my Extra/Extensions folder on top of Kext Utility v2.6.6 (latest version) for it to build Extensions.mkext, the app will run ok but during the process I get the error message: Sorry, could not create "Extensions.mkext". This is the first time it's ever happened to me... I have been able to successfully build Extensions.mkext in 10.11, 10.10, and 10.9 running on this same system. I tried running Kext Utility v2.6.4 to build Extensions.mkext but I still get the same error message. Any advise on how to fix this issue by enabling this app to start building Extensions.mkext would be greatly appreciated.

Frank Nitty
try and use kext wizard and do the maintenance from it. attached here. Thanks for the help, but I have grown accustomed to using Kext Utility since I started building Hackintoshes which was 6 yrs ago. I will try Kext Wizard but I really was looking for a solution to my problem. ---EDIT-- I ran Kext Wizard and ticked the necessary check boxes: it was able to repair permissions but it never would build mkext...
