Allan
Congratulations, it's perfect now! Look: Have you tried put your Hack to sleep now?
Thogg Niatiz
Ok great, I'm kinda proud of me Unfortunately it still doesn't wake up properly. Can I find more debug informations somewhere?
Allan
Remove the current 'sleepimage', reboot and try again. sudo rm -rf /private/var/vm/sleepimage

Allan
Set this in your UEFI/BIOS: Advanced\USB Configuration Legacy USB Support > Enabled Intel xHCI Mode > Auto EHCI Hand-off > Enabled Do you have any USB devices other than keyboard/mouse? Do you have any PCI devices or add-in cards other than your video card? You have the shutdown function working properly?
Thogg Niatiz
Check, everything set. Still no success... I had a Microsoft Webcam connected, but for now I'm just running my peripherals: I have no PCI extensions, not even a dedicated GPU, just the iGPU of my 4790K. How do I check if it works properly? Seems ok to me...
Allan
How do I check if it works properly? Seems ok to me... When you shut down your Hack, all coolers are off, motherboard leds off, video etc...

Thogg Niatiz
On wake the Q-Code on MB Display gets stuck at 30 - "Reserved for ASL" The Code seems to belong to the ASL Checkpoint 0x30 - "System is waking up from the S3 sleep state" according to the manual. Is this useful? I have no idea...
Allan
Hmm, I don't have these problems with Sleep, this Q-Code is like Windows blue screen In BIOS/UEFI did you disable VT-d, and set SecureBoot as OtherOS? Look with you have this option too: Advanced -> CPU Configuration -> CPU Power Management Configuration -> CFG-Lock: Disabled
Thogg Niatiz
Interesting, that's really bad... All set, system wouldn't boot Clover if not. I also checked my RAM, sometimes S3 errors are connected to RAM failure. But no, RAM is fine in both single and dual channel
Allan
Try use some value for 'slide=0' boot-arg. Some time ago Slice told to me that this value + OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi can help in Hibernation, but as your case is Sleep, we can try. E.g: slide=100, or 33, etc... Thogg Niatiz
I tried slide= for 0, 33 and 100, but it didn't solve the problem. Still gets stuck at Q30. Are there any other common slide values that could do the trick? SSDT DropOEM Option in Clover makes the system stop booting with a sensor initialization error. Could that be a sign that my generated SSDT isn't loaded correctly? I know DropOEM isn't necessary, but why is that an issue with my system? Thogg Niatiz
Progress! I have two displays connected to the board. The first by HDMI, the second by DVI. Removing the HDMI one fixes the wake issues. Is there a way to use the HDMI display again, softwarewise? I will go to get a DVI adaptor, just in case, but I would be happier if there is a DSDT fix or something.
Allan
Nice! Congrats bro! Maybe you can find something about HDMI patches, searching in Toleda's topics.
Thogg Niatiz
Hopefully... I will reply with a software solution if I find one. Thank you so much for your time and advice!
Allan
If I find something, I'll post here for you. Try this: DSDT.aml.zip And this: FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext.zip Rebuild the caches, and reboot.
Thogg Niatiz
Didn't work. Do I need FakePCIID.kext, too?
Allan
Yes, I already had put the right kexts in Clover folder. It's just a test for Sleep.
Thogg Niatiz
What did you change in DSDT? All USB Ports are disabled using your DSDT, and with mine wake still doesn't work. DSDT.aml.zip
Allan
Strange, In your DSDT I deleted the _DSM method in IGPU. Use the other version that I've sent you, and delete the FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext
Allan
Try this DSDT: DSDT.aml.zip
Thogg Niatiz
This time it gets stuck on boot. What did you change this time? Please apply the patch to this DSDT again DSDT.aml.zip
Allan
Stuck in what point? Boot up using -v, and if get stuck again, take a photo. Repair the caches, clean NVRam and try again. sudo nvram -c
