Z87 Extreme4, Xeon E3-1240 v3, Radeon HD7970 - is this possible to run OS X?

Hello  :)

I'm making a next topic in other place, maybe here I will get help earlier ;)

I want to try OS X 10.11 on this PC:

Asrock Z87 Extreme4 (Realtek ALC1150, Intel I217V)
Intel Xeon E3-1240 v3

XFX Radeon HD7970

Ballistix Crucial DDR3 1600MHz 16GB (2x8)

WD Red 2TB SATA3

TP-Link TL-WN851ND

My question is simple (I think...  :D ) - is this possible to run OS X without so many problems (post-installation can be a big problem for me...) on this PC? And I have a request - please, write like for a child, real noob is here.  :)

Moderators - if you want, you can delete my topic from macOS Sierra section.

Hello there,

It's quite simple, either you're trying or you're waiting until someone with the same hardware will be brave enough to experiment and share his/her results with you.

If you encounter problems, you can always ask for help.  :)

Best regards.

Hey :)

Thanks for reply! But actually I thought about some help, tutorials about Clover configuration and kexts for my hardware, post-installation configuration  - it's possible to get something like these? Or I will have to search for everything one by one?

Sure.

Here you go.

tutorials about Clover configuration

https://clover-wiki.zetam.org/Configuration

post-installation configuration

Below is a tool that generates SSDT tables for correct CPU functionality, if it doesn't work, search for tutorials on how to generate and modify your ACPI tables.

Audio.

or

kexts for my hardware

FakeSMC is the required kext to boot the system.

Or I will have to search for everything one by one?

Always use the search function, you'll find answers to most of your questions.

Best of luck.
