Allubz
Dear everyone, I've built a system with the following specs and installed 10.10.5 on it which is running splendid: GA-X99-UD3 5820K GTX 980 4GB 32GB Crucial CT4K8G4DFD8213 Samsung EVO 750 500GB 4TB HDD The problem is that the screen goes black after a while in idle and then becomes unresponsive, needing a reset. All power management options are disabled, so the screen, HDD, or system should not sleep/hibernate. The problem only occurs when not working with the system, in idle mode. I'm running the latest Chimera. This is all the information I can currently supply, because I'm not at the system. I expect to be able to deliver more information tomorrow, if requested. Maybe someone can shed light on this problem already? Many thanks! Al PS: Please move to Yosemite post-install.
