Hello everyone, I have a successfully installed OSX 10.10 Yosemite on my Toshiba Satellite C675-S7308 (To find your exact model number look under your laptop, This guide should work for all C675 models) I have been doing a lot of trial and error with this laptop and I have finally got it working. This guide will teach you how get OS X 10.10 on your Satellite C675, Please note I am NOT responsible for any errors you create or problems you may have. Even though this is a working guide anything can go wrong.

Requirements:

Empty 8GB or Larger Flash Drive
A Toshiba Satellite C675
Basic Hackintosh Skills
Time

So here is what works, Basically Everything

Graphics (Full Q&E) = Working
Sound = Working
WIFI = Working
Ethernet = Working
Built in Trackpad and Keyboard = Working
USB Ports = Working
Disk Drive = Working
SD Card Reader = Unknown
FN Controls = Working
VGA Port = Unknown
Battery and Percentage = Working
Webcam = Kinda Works, It seems to cut in and out not really FaceTime worthy.
Bluetooth = Working

So before we begin I recommend if you have Windows installed you Create a System Image which will back up your whole hard drive, Windows, and all your programs and files. You may need to buy an external hard drive depending on the amount of files and programs you have. The reason you may want to do a backup is because this is not a dual boot tutorial, I have tried dual boot but it ends up coming out with boot0 errors and it messes up the installation of OSX and Windows if you would like to attempt to dual boot please do so at your own risk. Alternatively, you could buy another hard drive just for OSX.

We will be using the hackintosh zone Yosemite distro for this tutorial, This way if you don't already have a hackintosh or a Mac you can create the bootable USB on your Windows Computer. You can try the tonymacx86 clean install of OSX but I haven't tested it and I don't know what you will get for results.

[step 1] - Create Bootable Hackintosh USB

So the first thing you want to do is download the Yosemite Zone distro from hackintosh zone's website by going here (FYI make sure to disable adblock or your IP will be blocked for 30 min from accessing the site) Once you open the link don't be fooled by the ads look for the button that looks like this
sdcNEWF.png
Once you click that button a page like this will open up
kiT05Z8.png
Download "Yosemite_10.10_DMG.zip" (10.10.1 hasn't been tested, I don't know what the results would be if you used it)

Once you click that yet another page will open and you will want to scroll down till you see this
xb0R9oD.png
The easiest thing to do is to like the hackintosh zone page but you select what way you want to unlock the file.

Once the file is unlocked you will be redirected to the last page, Scroll down until you see this again

kiT05Z8.png
Once again click "Yosemite_10.10_DMG.zip" and it will count down from 15 seconds and the download will begin.

Once the zip file is downloaded you will want to open it up, You may want to use a program like 7zip or WinRAR

Next, You will want to download a Torrent program, This will download the Full DMG file. You can use programs such as BitTorrent or uTorrent or any other torrent program.

Once you have your Torrent program installed, Extract the "Yosemite_10.10_DMG.zip" file with your chosen Unarchive program. Once the extract is finished open "YosemiteDMG.torrent" it will open your torrent program and select all the positive options that appear. This file may take awhile to download depending on your internet speed and how many people are downloading the same file at the same time as you.

Once the file is finished downloading you will want to download a program called TransMac we will use this to create the bootable USB. After you install TransMac, plug in your USB Flash Drive and Open TransMac as Administrator. Once you have TransMac Open, you will see something similar to this
tmscr.gif
Select Your Flash Drive in TransMac and right click and select "Restore With Disk Image" and find the Yosemite.dmg file, it's most likely located in your downloads folder unless it saved else were, Once you found it select it then select OK and wait for the image to be created. (This may take awhile, and this will also delete any data you have on your flash drive) Once you see "Restore Complete" your done! You have a bootable OS X installer on your flash drive.

Next you want to download this file and put it on your flash drive, These are the kexts we will be using later.
Don't unplug the flash drive though we will be using it in step 2.

Now that you know how to make a bootable Hackintosh Zone USB lets move on to the real guide.

[step 2] Booting Into the USB Installer

First of all shutdown your computer, Once its fully shut down turn it back on and SPAM the F12 button until it asks you to select a boot device. Select your USB Installer Flash Drive and press enter.

Then you will get a screen with a few options, it will list the partitions you have on your hard drive, You want to select "Yosemite Zone" and press enter
2682fa9e6aed41938adab44a849a05f4.png

It will start booting into the OSX installer, You will want to give it a few minutes it may take awhile.
Once its booted up you will get a screen that looks like this
28d9be790b5f47c7804f00eb87eb957f.png
It will want a bluetooth keyboard, To bypass this press the spacebar on your keyboard a few times.

Once you get past that screen you will get to a screen that looks like this

Next, you will want to name the new partition, By Default it's untitled. I recommend you name it "Macintosh HD" although it really doesn't matter. Also, make sure the Format is "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)"

Once you type your desired name for the partition and made sure the format is correct, Click "Apply", Then "Partition"

This will begin the partition progress, It shouldn't take too long.

Once you see "Partition complete." you can close out of Disk Utility.

After you close Disk Utility you will brought back to the "Install OSX" Screen, You will want to select the partition you just made. It will be named whatever you decided to name it, In this case I named mine "Macintosh HD". (Don't click "Yosemite Zone" That is the flash drive connected to your computer.)

Once you select your hard drive select the "Customize" button (This is very important!)

After you click the "Customize" button a menu will popup, it will say "OS X Yosemite 10.10" click the black arrow to reveal the options. (DO NOT CLICK THE BLUE BOX WITH A - THOUGH IT!)

Then click "Accept" then you will be brought back to the "Install OS X Screen" then click "Continue"

It will now begin to install OS X 10.10, This may take some time so please be patient!

Once you press enter it will bring you to the booting screen, It may take a bit of time to boot for the first time and it may also flicker while booting which is completely normal.

After it's booted you will see a screen that looks like this,

If you made it this far you're doing great! At this point in time your Graphics should already be accelerated and the Welcome screen should be in its native resolution.

Press continue and set up your account, I won't show how to do this. It's pretty self explanatory. However though, you won't be able to set up iCloud right away. Once you get to the screen that asks you "How Do You Connect?" simply click "My Computer does not connect to the internet" Reason being is we haven't setup the Wifi and Ethernet Kexts yet.

After some time a dialog will pop-up saying "Mac AppStore Fix" you will want to click "Fix It" this is important to make sure you are able to log into iCloud and iMessage and such.

Next close out of System Preferences and the screenshot and wait around 2-5 Min and restart your computer.

Once you restart your computer login to your desktop and Move the "Internet Kexts" file from your flash drive to the desktop and extract the folder.

Once you have the folder extracted, Open it up and Select "Clover Configurator" and copy it.
Next go to Finder, Applications, and Paste it in (or drag it).

Now that you have Clover Configurator we will be using this to configure the Wifi Kexts. Open up Clover Configurator from Launch Pad or The Applications Folder.

Once it's opened find the name of your hard drive partition and double click "Clover"

Once you are inside the "Other" Folder, COPY (Don't Drag!) the "AtherosWIFIInjector.kext" and the "IO80211Family.kext" into the "Other" folder from the "Internet Kexts" folder you extracted earlier. Once you do that it will ask you to "Authenticate" simply click "Authenticate" and type your password.

Next you can close out of the "Other" folder and Clover Config and open a program called "Kext Wizard" you can find it in the applications folder, launch pad, or by searching it.

Once you have Kext Wizard open you will get a screen that looks like this.

This may take a few seconds to a minute to install, Once it finishes it will give a dialog saying "Done" then click OK.

After this go back to the "Maintenance" tab and check the following boxes "System/Library/Extensions", "Repair Permissions" and "Rebuild cache" then click "Execute". This will take some time to finish around 5-10 min.

Once the task finishes you want to restart your computer once again.

After you restart your computer you should now see a Wifi icon! If you do this is a good sign!

The next step is to configure the wifi card, Open System Preferences, Network, Then click the "+" button then under "Interface"

Now you again want to click the "+" button then under "Interface"
select "Bluetooth DUN" and click "Create".

Once you have you have completed these 2 steps, you now want to enable your Wi-Fi. Select "Wi-Fi" and click "Turn Wi-Fi On"
then click apply and under "Network Name" Select your network and type your password and your online!
613687166b734861ba379ddb2fa381bb.png
After you setup your Wi-Fi, Click Apply at the Bottom and Close out of Network.

Next we are going to setup the Ethernet. Open the "Internet Kexts" folder once again and open the file that says "RTGNICv2.0.6For10.7" and go through the setup, It's very self explanatory. If you get an error saying it can't open the file because it's a file from the internet or some security related error go to System Preferences, Security and Privacy, Click the little lock at the bottom corner of the screen, type your password then were it says "Allow apps downloaded from:" select "Anywhere" and click the lock again and close out of the window and open the setup file again.  The installation of the kext may take a bit of time but once it finishes restart your computer.

After you restart, you can check to see if the installation was successful by going to System Preferences, Network and you should now see "Ethernet" if you do your Ethernet jack is now working!

[step 4] Final Tweaks and Touches

At this point you now have a fully functional Hackintosh! But there are a few other tweaks I recommend you do, these steps are not required but they may help.

So I'm sure you're wondering how to get rid of the nagging Bluetooth Keyboard setup wizard from popping up everytime you turn on your hackintosh well it's a real easy fix. Open System Preferences, Bluetooth, Advanced, and Uncheck "Open Bluetooth Setup Assistant at startup if no keyboard is detected" and uncheck the other 2 if they are checked. Then click OK.

Another thing you may be wondering is how to get rid of the hiss in the speakers. Go to System Preferences, VoodooHDA, and Turn "Input Gain" all the way down and the Volume Knob turn to about a 2 o'clock position. (You may need to adjust the volume knob) Also if you want the volume to show up on the menu bar up top go to System Preferences, Sound, and down at the bottom check "Show Volume in Menu Bar".

Lastly, to login to iCloud and other services go to System Preferences, Internet Accounts, and select your service.

I hope this guide helps, I'm currently testing OS X 10.11 and will make a new Guide if I am successful at it. One last thing NEVER download any mac updates from the App Store it could mess up your hackintosh! You can download program updates however (ex. iTunes, and so on) and if you have any questions or issues leave them down below and I will try to help. If you were successful let me know down below as well!
