wolfi
Greetings Years ago I tinkered with os x on legacy Intel hardware. It was the time of Kaly and 10.5. Now I want to install some newer Version (Yosemite or newer) on an older Gigabyte motherboard (GA-G33M-DS2R). Which is the preferred method to install? Does clover work with non EFI motherboards? Ciro82
Of course Clover works with non UEFI mobos. You should make your usb thumbdrive using Create Install Media method, then install Clover on it.
Yee
Your mobo can boot only MBR disk. Find installer patched allready against MBR or patch by yourself, there a link to patches: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/category/11-miscellaneous/. I have exactly same mobo and run now El Capitan 10.11.6, flawless. Sound card work wiith patch from toleda method (you need install Xcode, sorry) - https://github.com/toleda/audio_RealtekALC
