fantomas
Hi, PC "switching" feature is not supported by OS X. If you are able to disable your IGP via BIOS, then there may be a chance to run this card but there's no 100% guarantee. There's still no support for AMD APU IGP's. End3rPower50
but the video card detects it automatically or do I install the drivers ?
fantomas
There's no driver(s) to install. At first, you have to determinate if your BIOS can disable your IGP and if it can, then we'll see what we can do with your dedicated GPU. And if it cannot, then there is nothing to do. End3rPower50
But if disable the onboard video from amd control panel it is the same, ora i have to disable bios? I have a pc ASUS x550ze-xx072t
fantomas
AMD Control Panel is for Windows - it has nothing to do with OS X. You have to disable your IGP from your BIOS (if it is possible) and configurate it to boot only with your dedicated GPU.
End3rPower50
Hello, thank you for the help you're giving me I want to know which version of OS X you advise me to install
fantomas
You're welcome But I'm still waiting to know if you can disable IGP via BIOS or not. If you can't disable it, then there's no reason to try to install OS X on your laptop. At least, you may be able to install it but your graphics card will not work properly. Maybe as a first step, you should try to install OS X via VM (virtual machine) - We have a dedicated forum here. Good luck. fantomas1
