Jeez people, let's stay on topic here. If you want bittorrent invites, take it to another forum. This topic is about the leaked new version. Also, don't send me requests for invites. I will give out invites to people when I want to, and a PM without even contributing to normal conversation and begging for an invite won't even recieve a response. Stay on topic.

This topic is about the new leaked build. Ask for bittorrent invites in the marketplace's topics about whichever site you are looking for.

Alright. I finally got it installed and my user account migrated. The release notes tell me that it doesn't support "Upgrades from the WWDC Developer Seed" so I tried Archive and install.

I'm not sue if it was my fault, the computers fault, or just a fluke, but when it got to the part where it was going to migrate my account into the system, it just sat there.

Anyhow, I recovered by doing another archive install but when it booted back up, my account wasn't registered. In fact, there were no accounts registered so i had to remove the /var/db/.AppleSetupDone file to get to the migration section. From there I told it to migrate from a volume on the computer and it worked great.

The performance seems much more zippy. It feels like it's offloading a bit more to the GPU. That says a lot because I'm running on a PB G4 1.25 GHz

Other than the stuff we've all seen around the internet, the one thing I see different as of right now is that the little thing showing which direction you go in spaces has changed colors.

More to come!

Honestly, the only difference I see in Preview is the ability to change the size of an image. It's available from the Tools menu item and it looks like this:

Actually, this feature is one I've looked around for ages to find. It will come in handy a lot

Oh, and also, Preview has this nice little "swooshy" deal it does when you flip through images. It's comprable to the effect you get when moving widgets out of the dashboard.

I've also just noticed that QuickTime has seen some changes. It seems to load videos much faster. It's much more "instant" as it was in Tiger. There's however one caveat to this improvement. It seems that when you open a new video (for me) they come up squished.

Obviously this isn't permanant and by hitting Apple+1 you return the video to it's original size.

Nice bug!

Honestly, I'm not sure. I didn't grab mine from there.

But I will say this:

My 9A283 DMG is 4.62 Gigs (4,955,641,257 bytes)

The original WWDC DMG is 4.33 Gigs (4,646,705,970 bytes)

TPB DMG is 4.38 GiB (4,699,488,256 bytes)

If it were my bandwidth, I wouldn't bother with the one on TPB

Thanks for making it clear MacAddict!
