Without the nv_disable=1 flag the internal display does not work but an external monitor connected to the external display port will work. I have tried the efi string in http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/293967-solved-asus-rog-laptops-with-kepler-cards-not-detecting-dp-2-connected-lcd-display/page-8 Here are the specs of my latop 2x Nvidia 680M HM77 Chipset ALC892 Codec 120Hz 3D display i7 3820QM I have attached the ioreg file. Thanks in advance. Edit: The EFI string that i tried caused a white band during boot and the system hanged. The IOREG file is without the injected EFI String.
