Apple releases Safari 10 beta for El Capitan and Yosemite

Now Apple has released the new version of Safari 10 for El Capitan and Yosemite.

They have some news (focus area) for this version fo Safari.

 

OS X El Capitan

  • Safari Extensions
  • Development of Safari App Extensions
  • New Bookmarks sidebar, including double-click to focus in on a folder
  • Redesigned Bookmarks and History views
  • Site-specific zoom
  • Improved AutoFill from your Contacts card
  • Reader improvements
  • HTML5 and legacy Plug-ins
  • Allow reopening of recently closed tabs
  • Spotlight suggestions for Top Hits
  • Back closing spawned tabs
  • Improved ranking of Frequently Visited Sites
  • Web Inspector Timelines Tab
  • Debugging using Web Inspector

 

OS X Yosemite

  • Safari Extensions
  • New Bookmarks sidebar, including double-click to focus in on a folder
  • Redesigned Bookmarks and History views
  • Site-specific zoom

  • Reader improvements

If you want download this version to test, go to Apple Developers page.

 

The requirements are:

  • Safari 10 for macOS Sierra is available in the latest macOS Sierra 10.12 beta.
  • Safari 10 for OS X El Capitan is available for the latest OS X 10.11.6 beta 3, 15G19a or later
  • Safari 10 for OS X Yosemite is available for OS X 10.10.5.
