The Forgotten King
Hi! I'm new here, but I am somewhat capable of understanding terminal etc, I'm using an HP Mini 1103. Specs: Intel atom n455 1gb ram (I'm going to upgrade to 2gb) Intel GMA 3150 I successfully managed to use the iatkos s3 v2 Snow Leopard to install OS X on my HP Mini with this procedure: (In Linux) Burn the iso to a USB Copy the install partition to a disk partition Use GRUB to boot the installer Install the system to an HFS+ partition. Upon booting the system, it instantly reboots. By using: -x -f -s -v A bunch of text flashes by, saying that kexts are loading. Then, at the end, it says something about lack of a DSDT. Then the computer reboots. I went into the HFS+ partition, and could not find a DSDT.aml. How can I create a DSDT file? I can't get into OS X on that PC, but I can get to the library to use a mac there. Any Ideas on how to get a DSDT? Or to boot without one temporarily? The Forgotten King
Edit: I've extracted the DSDT. I boot using -v, then this happens:

mnfesq
You shouldn't need a DSDT to boot for the first time. You may not have complete functionality but you should be able to boot if your computer is OS X compatible. I've never tried to make a Hackintosh from an Atom computer. You might want to check out the posts in that section to get what you need. It sure seems like a lot of effort to get Snow Leopard working on a Atom computer with 1 GB of RAM. BTW, it appears that there is no ability to get hardware acceleration working for the GMA3150. Your choice whether to proceed or not.

The Forgotten King
Sadly, it didn't work. I'm going to wait for my new PC to use a newer version. I think it would be very slow on the system anyways. Thanks for the attempts though.
