KernelPanic by Lilu !!!
Lilu too old.
Boot with flag -liluoff -alcoff
... then renew Lilu and AppleALC !!!
Update Lilu to version 1.2.1 and AppleALC 1.2.2, then all right!

LayoutID 11 (0B) or even better (NEW) LayoutID 13 (0D) !!!ill will

Optiplex works, yes.

@for all:
First DP Beta 10.13.4 works here, too.

Unfortunately this did not work for me. Using -alcoff and -liluoff gets me much further into the boot however it still will not complete the boot. It takes a very long time then just hangs.

Hello again,

So yesterday I got my hands on 2 SSD drives!

Thought it would be a great idea to RAID them together in the 0 config.

I installed Sierra with no problems, however I cannot seem to boot from the RAID partition using normal clover methods.

I just wondered if this was possible at all?

The only way I can get into the OS is by using a USB stick to start off with.

I also have 2 other drives in the machine both 1TB also in the RAID 0 config.

Neither of which seem to show life after the machine powers on.

Dell 780 core 2 Duo HD5450

Thanks in advance

This is what I am getting now. Did I have some hardware fail at the same time as the update?

Make a good Signature CPU exact  model , Graphics exact brand and VRam

what you try 10.12 or 10.13 ?

Share EFI of SSD or HD

Also share EFI of USB Installer if you try USB Installer

Sorry for the delay

Well i will provide a more detailed info

I made the update via apple web page (.dmg file) not via App Store.

After this i got the same as above KP  "as.vit9696.Lilu(1.0).... etc"

After that i boot in Single user mode from Clover to remove Lilu.kext from S/L/E and when i type "exit" in the console the computer continued to load kexts or whatever (i had also checked -V) and after this booted normally .

That means i have back my computer with everything working except audio.

So i double checked that the Lilu kexts was removed from S/L/E (from contents, plugins also) and rebooted.

Unfortunatelly i got the same KP "as.vit9696.Lilu(1.0).... etc"

I rebooted again in single user mode and searched for Lilu.kext everywhere in S/L/E and there wasn't present at all.

So i am in this state now. If the computer reboots normally  i have the above KP, but it is working normally  if i boot in single user mode after typing "exit" in the console.

I attach the config.plist and the system info .spx file for further information but with a short description the machine is iMac 12,1 Intel core I3 and Graphics Hd 5450 XFX silent 1GB .

Any help would be welcome.

I forgot  to say that i have tried and installed the latest ALC.kext and Lilu.kext (both of them 1.2.2. release) as advised in previous posts without any result.

I have also removed the ALC.kext from EFI/Clover/Kexts/10.12 (i am runing Sierra 10.12.6)

Well it looks OK. Mind to share your EFI/CLOVER folder?

No problem, but i am in share screen with the computer and i do not risk to make a reboot remotely.

So i will go to my work tomorrow to make a try with your config.plist and respond.

Thanks for your effort i will reply ASAP

Well everything OK.

I used chris1111's config 5450.plist and booted normally WITH Audio.

Many many thanks for your effort.

One more question if anybody knows .

is there any budget Low Profile Graphics card (silent preferred & without extra power connector) that can play 4K@60Hz in Dell 780 or Dell790 O.O.B full working with at least two digital outputs HDMI-DVI?

I have two Dell Hackintoshes (780-790) and want to use one of them as Home Theater P.C. with Kodi.

Thanks.

Still doesn't boot. thanks for the attempt. This update must have screwed something up bad. I guess I will need to reinstall, just a shame this system has been up since El Capitan.
